In 2 recent cases, the Narcotics Suppression Bureau made 2 sizable drug arrests. 5 suspects were arrested and 5.4 million methamphetamine pills and about 600 kilograms of marijuana were seized. In the first bust in the Singburi province, located in central Thailand, 3 suspects were arrested: 40 year old Sittipol Charoensang, 40 year old Tua Charoenpai, and 32 year old Kwannaphat Leecharoensuwan. The suspects were allegedly smuggling 27 sacks of methamphetamine from Chiang Rai to Suphan Buri, that is, from northern Thailand to central Thailand. I wonder if not the drug consumption has increased due to boredom and dispair. And alcohol consumption, despite closed bars etc. Someone is making a good profit during the pandemic..
