Of course they can fly in dirty aircraft that spew out tons of carbon, so long as they stop preaching and lecturing to the rest of us about how we should live in energy poverty. Otherwise, they're nothing but hypoctites, no better than idiots like De Caprio, Prince Charles et al.

Sorry that's a false dichotomy.

No it isn't. Do you feel guilty when you fly?

Should they swim to the Maldives and go by bicycle to Thailand? 😁

They certainly won't, just to fit your misconception of integrity.

That wouldn't convince you anyway, see Greta Thurnberg who did something like that and you still call her an idiot.

They should stay put if they practice what they preach, cycling or walking around their homes. Aircraft emit tons of carbon. So bad for the planet.

Back to cars. I've got a Mazda CX5 Akera 2.5 litre turbo. Mazda make fantastic cars, so refined, and the turbo version creates 250 horsepower with a whopping 320 foot pounds of torque at 2,000 rpm.

It emits lots of CO2, but I'm not an adherent of the green religion, so I put my foot down and enjoy.

One of the most reliable brand is Porsche. I have a 911 997 carrera S and 981 Boxster, both very well made and fantastic to cruise in.
