Taken about 4 years ago in Bangsare, that's about all I can remember except that Dave Prowse is still looking active.

Common name is Cannonball tree.  Couroupita guianensis originally from South America was introduced in India and later Thailand.  We have one nearby that's approx 100ft tall, flowering and producing the distinctive cannonball shaped fruit.  During high winds the dry mature fruit bang together, sounding like/resembling .... cannonballs.  Easy to propagate and fast growing, tall and straight,  nice trees,
