There will always be a reason, however tenuous, for this bunch of control freaks to extend the state of emergency. They are hooked on mind control and physical control of the masses so cannot allow any return to normalcy because they know their very existence is threatened by allowing freedom. So we had better get used to being herded around for as long as this mob are able to retain control.

If you watched or read the last 2 days the thai news you know why they do it and for sure nobidy would make an emergency degree over 2 years because there are enough laws and regulations to manage it including in Thailand. Since 2 days it is in the news/tv that the ruling government party fall apart and the mps left and founding 2 new parties. By the way thats the topic since 2days in thai news outlets and tv and major topic all over Thailand and til today nothing is written in the thaiger news while it is in all thai news since 2 days. 2 days delay news of the most topic in Thailand? Is thaiger not reading or watching thai news as a news outlet??!

Locale dependent - most provinces, and their respective communities, aren't engaged or practice enforcement of these silly writs and mandates.

I wonder how the success of such "measures" is measured?  Would they consider the current situation a success?  if so, by what metric?  If not, why extend?

Indeed. And the real agenda is clear: the merciless racist genocide against Ex-Pats as perpetuated by a seemingly innocuous but deadly system of "double pricing".
