  1. Pooh-Pooh go boo-hoo. Yer vax is shite pal. You want thanks? Thanks for giving the world the worst virus we have seen in recent times. Thanks for withholding information about it being transferrable between humans for two months, giving it time to spread far and wide. Thanks for selling your sub-standard solution to it. Thanks for sweet n sour fried chicken.

  2. So the Chinese embassy condemns those making disparaging remarks, bloody plonkers. The whole world should condemn China for creating the virus, creating mayhem all over the world.

  3. China is corrupt and overbearing. They are responsible for this pandemic. No accountability and responsibility. Therefore, no respect.

  5. These people give the world Covid, and they think that nations around the world, especially those in their sphere of influence, should be grateful! Covid is not the Chinese takeaway I want, or any of the their condoments, (the Sinovac Vacine). Dream on Charlie Chan.

  7. It has nothing to do with "mob rule", a "collectivist attitude" or your "right to free travel". Nobody's restricting your right to "travel" or to be "free" as much as you want to, as long as you don't affect others. They're just saying that if and when what you do does affect others then there needs to be a balance between the rights of the majority and the rights of the minority. ... so when you use a public road, you drive on the correct side; when you use a public plane, you don't open the door mid-flight to get some air; when you live near other people, you don't play Ride of the Valkyries over the PA system at 3 in the morning; when you use a public restaurant, you don't take a dump on someone's meal but use the toilet ... Far from being about "restricting" anyone's "rights" it's about maximising everyone's rights, whether they're weak and vulnerable or selfish and stupid.

  9. It's time that the western world hit these people where it hurts, in their bank balance. We should freeze their assets which are held in western banks etc. Property that they own, in London for example should be sequestered. They should not be allowed to buy land, property or participate in the London stock exchange. All imports of their products should be prohibited. I know they have become the warehouse of the world, but we really do need to put there people back in the box. I personally have emailed Boris Johnson and other senior UK government figures expressing exactly what I state here, albeit in a much more detailed fashion.

  10. Over the past few months there must have been thousands of comments on this topic, so I’ll add just one more: Cutting through the nonsense, we all know exactly what the situation is in Thailand. Tests number are far too low for the real situation to be clear. The daily figures published are just a small fraction of actual cases. This is true in many countries, but most acknowledge this fact and don’t publicise it as something positive. The Number of deaths will also be under reported, especially where those deaths occur in rural villages and to elderly people. The vaccine rollout strategy is confused, ever changing, woefully late and inadequate. The economy is struggling. Not only in the tourism sector but in manufacturing also due to Covid affecting workers in factories. The country is simply about to take a massive gamble and open up businesses with the exception of obviously high risk environments like bars and nightclubs. This is a gamble. Plain and simple. It’s not a calculated risk based on any scientific data from anywhere else on the planet. They are just hoping that somehow this wave is on the decline and it will buy them a bit more time. Well time will indeed tell. In the meantime, all people can do who are living out there is to look after yourself as best you can. Get the vaccine as soon as you can. And wait it out ….

  14. Criticism of Sinovac is completely justified. Preventing freedom of speech in China is something the CCP is very familiar but they shouldn't tell the Thai people how to behave. Silencing discussion isn't going to change Sinovac from being the worst choice for a vaccine. If the CCP are such great friends of Thailand why did they charge much more for the vaccine than they did to other countries.

  15. Besides the fact no one really cares what the Chinese ambassador has to say. Fact is make a good vaccine and there is no problem. Make a crappy one and people will complain.

  18. Ahem, ahem... Once again...and for the second time on this story subject, we are off-topic and talking about the origin of the virus, when the story is: Chinese Embassy condemns those disparaging Sinovac vaccine Why, oh why, can't we stay on topic without pulling out our own pet subjects and inserting them on every f***ing thread?

  20. So Mr Ambassador, and your boss Winnie the Pooh, you seem unaware of the ban imposed on Sinovac by the Brazilian regulator Anvisa and the Brazilian distributor Butantan Institute. The reason for the 90 day ban is because you are supplying vaccine made in an unauthorised and unchecked factory and hiding this from the Brazilian people. That is not just bad business it is medically unethical. I want to to know from that nice Khun Anutin how much of the Sinovac he is ramming into Thai arms has come from that very same factory! The Thai people want to know and deserve an immediate response.

  21. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD REMAIN SILENT After hearing his lawyers argument it’s a bit different reason now? Tightening one plastic bag over someone’s head & tightening it can result in death? He said he wanted him to tell where the other drugs were hidden? How can anyone communicate if 6 Plastic bags have been placed over your head? His defence of I did not want him to see me ? Also falls short? As he had already seen him when the the murder began? Also could of stood behind him ? Sorry none of these excuses, cuts it with most people ? In a western society this is just downright murder of 1st degree! And also his cover up proves he knows it was unlawful? I would also think that he & others should be investigated if this had not happened before? As this seems to be a routine excuse by these men! Any CCTV record or past witnesses or any other Hospital reports that have been told what to write as cause of death? This man seems sinister? Not only did he murder the man? He is now telling us it was just mere assault, which also shows what type of character this gruesome man has? regards spice61

  23. "The Government Pharmaceutical Organisation now plans on conducting quality testing on the kits made by Lepu Medical Technology with the help of Ramathibodi Hospital to reassure people of their accuracy." Well, now, that could take some time now, couldn't it? And what happens when they discover that other countries were correct in having the product yanked from their markets? Will the Thai government pass them off as "effective" as they tried with Sinovac? Is this "anything to fill the pockets" of their puppet masters in Red China?

  24. Does that include the extra beds in the CIC's that aren't really hospital beds? 26. We should all start to get use to this kind of thing happening. China, for a number of years now, has been ramping up its campaign to stop anti-Chinese information. It is a deliberate and growing action on the part of the Chinese government. The BBC recently aired a program which is available on the BBC iPlayer called China’s Secret Weapon. There have been some well documented examples of the lengths to which China is now going to continually challenge and pressurise institutions and governments against anything seen as anti-Chinese. Make no mistake, this is a new form of Cold War instigated by President Xi and is part of a much larger propaganda movement which includes deeper indoctrination of Children, a clamp down on human rights and an aggressive challenge to governments who don’t fall in to line. A country like Thailand will be high on the list of countries which can easily be told what to do. All of this is being done in parallel with greater financial clout and a massive build up of military capability. Meanwhile, Western democracies with their limited 5 year, short sighted government structures, populations more concerned about which Pronouns they wish to be referred by, having the correct ethnic mix in boardrooms and pulling down historical statues for fear of offending someone, are sleepwalking in to disaster.

  29. Someone on here, who will remain nameless, when I posted that a fourth jab would be coming, justified it. It amazes me that so many are unable to see that pharmaceutical companies are 'experimenting' with us. As you mentioned in another thread BSph, the labelling of people who don't want, or agree with being vaccinated, is dreadful. I really do think that in the not to distant future, being vaccinated will be mandatory for Visa renewal.

  30. Just another reason for me to hate the CCP even more than I do now. Getting so tired of them complaining they are misunderstood, not the aggressor, always giving out of love, they did not create the virus, and their Sinovac is underestimated and not bad. Malaysia will stop using it or has phased it out already, everyone I hear from who are Thai will not take it, and then the list goes on and on and on. I would like to know how many Chinese in Thailand took it from their Embassy or Consulate or opted to wait for anything better, and how many in China in itself took it or are they only giving Sinopharm in China? Sinopharm seems to be the better one but where is this one in the big numbers here? All I can say is the CPP and their loud mouths can go blow everyone who does not like them and their Chinese made Sinovac. This is not new news that Sinovac is junk, but if there is no choice it is at least good that the Thai medical field has some stocked away just in case it can help someone who became ill and needs any and all the help they can get. Down with the CCP and shame on anyone who supports them and their loud mouths.

  32. My freedom puts you in jeopardy? You're going to claim you have a right to take my freedoms because your worried about yet another demonstrable flu virus? You're going to claim I'm delusional with that logic? Here is why you are wrong to demand this. Freedom is risky, you got that part right. However... rational, lucid, responsible people can manage, have and do manage their own risk management. I fully understand this disease and it's wider associated risks, I do understand it, better than most. Your claim that I am a fool, has no merit. And with that, I am not asking, nor do I need you to manage my risk for me. You're free to go lock yourself up in your home, or wear a paper mask the rest of your life, or take hundreds of vaccine booster shots... you're free to protect yourself as you see fit, I only ask for reciprocal respect in return. That's not being delusional, that's a civil, reasonable, cooperatively thoughtful, respectful, honorable, rightful demand. And I will assert that right...

  35. I reckon China should just face it. The fact is efficacy rate of Sinovac pales against other vaccines and many countries have studies and numbers to support its performance. Even countries that have hugely benefited from donations from China Sinovac are suffering because of its lower efficacy and protection especially its front line workers. In contrast, China should work on improving the vaccine in combating delta and increasing efficacy instead of trying to defend its case. it's becoming boring and baseless.

  38. One of the claims made by these people was that this would not stop at one jab, but would be regular and ongoing shots. ‘This is life from now on’: Israel’s coronavirus czar warns people to prepare for a ‘fourth injection’ of Covid vaccin https://www.rt.com/news/533981-israel-covid19-vaccine-fourth-dose/ What else they Conspiracy Researchers get right 1. Covid was man made 2. Vaccines would be mandatory 3. There would not be one vaccine, but it would be an ongoing series of vaccines 4. Vaccine Passports would be introduced 5. Censorship of all opposing voices would become widespread If these people could predict these things at the outbreak of Covid, what else are they correct about

  39. 1) Who's forcing it ? I hear that a lot on here so who's doing it ? 2) If it was your choice to have a blue car, when everyone else has ordered red that's fine because it doesn't directly impact anyone else more than nuisance value. But choose to not vaccinate DOES potentially impact everyone else, its bewildering why you conspiracy theorists can't get that into your heads, it makes you more dangerous to others, it makes you more likely to COST the system that could be helping other more considerate people who care about their fellow beings, it means you're more likely to take up that hospital bed that could be used by someone that cares about others, and of course it means you are more likely to die bringing avoidable grief on your loved ones, though I'm going to assume here no right minded individual with loved ones would choose to not have a vaccine, and it means the world will be a slightly less worrying place! To dismiss 99% of the worlds best brains as 'the mob' only shows how desperate the anti vaxxers have become! They are all we have. I didn't particularly want to have the vaccine but I did so as socially and morally it was the correct thing to do on the evidence we have and not based on something that MIGHT happen in the future or any bizarre conspiracy theory so evident on here. To not do so makes you a pariah IMO and that is only going to increase so get use to it. I think Thaiger are actually sailing very close to the wind of culpability by providing a platform thereby indirectly encouraging such dangerous misinformed claptrap that hasn't the slightest grasp on reality or borne out by the known facts and statistics!

  40. That's like saying drive on the correct side of the road if you want to but don't force me to if I don't, or don't force me to use the toilet if I want to take a dump on the bus seat next to you. Your actions affect not just you but those around you as well. It's your actions that are dragging out the lockdowns, mask wearing, etc, because you refuse to acknowledge that your actions affect others, not the pro-maskers / pro-lockdowners, etc.

  43. Creating fear in order to coerce a population into a pre-designed compliance, is not a new model of control. What alarms me most is the scale of fright and desperation people have digested and wish to impose on others. If the experimental vaccines are as good as those people have accepted, then they surely have no need to worry about those who choose to not take them, and therefore should not force THEIR choice onto others. Previous or existing travel cards for other inoculations were issued for fully tested and approved treatments, whereas this proposal for covid vaccine imposition is for a vaccine that is absolutely not fully tested. All this still being proposed in spite of international human rights laws drawn up after WW2 that banned people being forced, coerced or misled into being part of a medical experiment!

  44. China is loosing the vaccination diplomacy war. The initial gain of being first of the rank with a first gen vaccine is a historical footnote as the virus has moved on. The US has now a stated goal of being the world leader in vaccine production. Sinovac is now just used by third world countries as better than nothing. I know who my money is on. In real terms, when you travel internationally in the future, let's see how far 2 x Sinovac will get you outside of China or the likes of Thailand who are so desperate to boot lick for tourists.

Sinovac’s efficacy also waned in older populations, reducing the risk of death by only 35% in populations over 80." <--- https://fortune.com/2021/08/31/china-covid-vaccine-sinovac-sinopharm-delta-variant-effective/ It is less effective than other vaccines , but still protects ...for a while . Any official transaction anywhere on the planet needs proof of identity. In Thailand this means either identity card or passport. The western world is the same where identity is proven by passport, officially issued id., driving license, birth certificate etc. Nobody objected in the past when you needed proof of vaccinination against yellow fever, typhoid, etc., when travelling. If you don't want get vaccinated, fine but don't expect the majority of us to want to associate with you.
