A pedestrian has suffered the loss of a leg in a severe hit-and-run incident in Bradford, leaving a severed limb on the road. The collision occurred on Halifax Road, close to the Tesco in Buttershaw, Bradford, at approximately 8pm on Monday.

Video footage, viewed by MailOnline, captured the injured individual lying on the road with outstretched arms as several men surrounded them. The disturbing clip also displayed a severed lower leg a few metres away.

Images shared on ‘X’, previously known as Twitter, by YappApp, depicted a police cordon around a Pelican crossing near the supermarket. Police officers were visible within the cordon, with debris, including a shoe, scattered on the road.

Local residents described the high-speed crash as ‘horrendous’, according to reports. Footage showed a Forensic Collision Investigation team arriving at the scene. Following the collision, Halifax Road remained closed on Monday.
