The Met Office predicts an unsettled weekend for the North and North West, with persistent rain expected, especially in western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperatures in the South East will reach 21C on Saturday and Sunday, and 23C on Monday, slightly below average.

On Sunday, southern Britain and Ireland will likely remain dry with some sunshine, while showers or longer rain spells will affect other areas. The weather will stay cool and blustery, particularly in the North.
