Of course, for Oppo to gain market share, One must have fallen. And that person is Huawei. Reports reveal that Huawei phones have problems in China as well. This may be a result of Huawei reducing its focus on premium phones due to component shortages. This is partly the result of US intervention. This causes Huawei to focus more on its subsidiary brands. And a subsidiary brand like Honor is another strategy that Huawei needs to do in order to survive.
However, these numbers are only for one month. Huawei still has plenty of time to regain control of the Chinese smartphone market. Oppo is hoping to find its next big hit, the Oppo Find X3 Pro.
