Inside the vehicle, they discovered the unresponsive bodies of two-year-old twins Ariel and Avery, who had been left inside for an extended period.
Reports indicate the twins’ parents had left them with a trusted family member, who was supposed to drop them at daycare. Unfortunately, the family member forgot, and by the time they realised, it was too late. The temperature had soared to 90F that day.
Their father, Marshall Suter, was at work when he received the tragic news from the police just after 11pm on 5 September. “My heart’s been a wreck ever since,” he shared. “They were loved by everyone in the family. Their love was the purest I had ever felt. Mom and dad love their baby girls.”
Suter expressed the depth of his sorrow, saying, “No day will ever be the same. Our hearts are shattered. Losing a child is the hardest thing ever, and I lost two. I don’t think I’ll ever be okay again.”
Tributes have poured in for Ariel and Avery, while the family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
A family member stated, “This is truly tragic and has been very hard on the family, especially with hateful comments. I hope this shows people it wasn’t intentional and truly an accident. The family needs peace during this heavy time.”
A GoFundMe page has been established by Kourtnee Usey, a cousin of Marshall Suter, to help with funeral costs. “All funds will be used to give these precious little babies the funeral they deserve and take some weight off this father’s shoulders after such a tragic and HEARTBREAKING loss,” the relative wrote.
An investigation into the twins’ deaths continues.
