Authorities were alerted to the Grade II-listed estate around 7:15 pm on Tuesday due to concerns about the safety of a male resident and a report of an assault on a woman.

Upon arrival, officers encountered Mr Daniels-Poulis inside the property, armed and acting threateningly. The situation escalated, prompting the deployment of additional police units, including armed officers, negotiators, drones, and dogs, along with several ambulances.

Police finally searched the property just before 6 pm on Wednesday but found no sign of Mr Daniels-Poulis. They did, however, discover two air rifles and a crossbow.

The estate, located off the A140 between Aylsham and Norwich, is surrounded by outbuildings and open farmland.
