Thai Lion Air brings in new luggage restrictions *Thaiger Bites

Thai Lion Air has brought in new luggage policies, with tickets purchased from January 15 onward.

For cabin baggage they can have a choice of two of the following: one main piece of cabin baggage not exceeding 7 kilograms (40 x 20 x 20 centimeters), one laptop bag or handbag.

Passengers will also be asked to get cabin baggage labels to avoid excess baggage at gates.

The airline will no longer be providing free checked baggage allowance to economy class tickets.Previously passengers were allowed 20kg checked luggage and 10kg carry-on.

Any pre-paid baggage allowance must be purchased at least four hours prior to the departure.
