Well, a bit of a shocking week, with only one correct result and score between all the players.
Fortunately, it was I that received that sole green blob.

Congratulations to @Marble-eye who creeps to the top of the leaderboard by the smallest of margins.
Will @BigHewer respond, or can @Chaimai with only 5 weeks remaining, mount a challenge to be the FFFF winner.

At this point, I wouldn't like to place a bet on the winner.

Results after week 33 fixtures.

Just between you and I, do you think @BigHewer made a mistake by forecasting Norwich to beat Newcastle 2-1. 😲

Well obviously he did make a mistake but was it intentionally? ⚽🙏

Here we go again. I’m looking down the  table with trepidation now rather than up. A bit like Leeds United.

Red Devils 1-2 v  Chelsea

Toon 1-3 v Liverpool

Villa 2-1 Canaries

Southampton 2-0 Crystal Palace

Watford 1-1 Burnley

Wolves 1-0 Brighton

Leeds United 0-3 Manchester City

Everton 1-3 Chelsea

** Surely the Toon’s uptick in form must end. I actually think they’ll win so either way here, I’ll get something out of it.

That pick was insurance. Mind you, I won’t be approaching the Liverpool game with the same logic 😂

Is that your week 34 submission?
If so, you're two fixtures short.

Depends on one's viewpoint. With relegations battles ongoing, it's not uncommon to get a few surprise results against the run of form. Look at Burnley as an example.
I'm not confident about the fixtures this coming week, which could go either way. The only two I'd bet on for a win are Liverpool and Man City.

So, I guess yesterday's forecasts were merely a practice 🤔 . . .

@King Cotton I had to put Watford to beat Burnley as I have the Hornets in LPS, although I strongly fancy Burnley, maybe should have edged my bets and chosen the Clarets, but ya never know.🥴⚽

Oops, getting carried away here and having old timers disease doesn't help, but good to see you're on the ball KC. 😳

Your first submitted predictions stand @Marble-eye and you selected Burnley to win 1-0. 😀

Sorry for any confusion @Fazand thanks to @King Cotton for spotting it, I'm surprised @spicy_girl husband didn't pick up on it when I rang him for his weekly advice.🤫

He won't pick up because he's away on holiday building sandcastles with his bucket and spade on a beach.
Whenever he's gives advice to @spicy_girl, more often than not, he ends up eating 7/11 takeaways.

Keep faith in the dog - a man's best friend.  Never argues or answers back, and will gladly eat 7/11 takeaways.

But I only copied 4 of yours, @Marble-eye. . . and the hottest form-fancied 4, when all said and done 😏 !

But I did warn you that I'd cottoned-on to your winning formula, aka under-cover plagiarism 😉!

A key fixture it would seem. Based on my history of underestimating the seagulls, I’d say KC is in the box seat🙄

Yeah, I always struggle to forecast The Seagulls - and The Saints too, for that matter . . . the south coast air or what?

I was just last night thinking that Bournemouth might blow their automatic promotion spot. Based on “south coast reverse logic”, they must now be a shoe in for promotion.

Bornemouth have a potential banana skin fixture this week away to Blackburn, then what could be the decider for automatic promotion, at home to Notts Forrest, who are currently on a roll beating Fulham away this week and the same goal difference as Bournemouth.

Could well be. If QPR roll Sheffield United on Friday night, there’ll be extra motivation for Rovers as a play off spot will be well and truly on. Lots of permutations for promotion in the Championship still.
