Hospitals should be turning people away unless breathing difficulties. it’s not rocket science…….

Is there some indication that hospitals are admitting patients who don't require a bed?

You do realize that "rising cases" are meaningless if deaths are going down (as the chart you linked clearly shows)? What a foolish post.

Rising cases are relevant to the point that hospital systems are now under significant strain due to the increase in cases (and an increase in pediatric cases as well - which is alarming). Try to keep up. Hospitals are not admitting patients so they can take an aspirin and a snooze. You are either obtuse or willfully ignorant to think rising cases and hospitalizations are not related. Deaths, globally, are down (a whopping 2% week-over-week) which is no doubt good news for the vaccinated. As the majority of ventilated and dying hospital patients are unvaccinated #facts

Rising cases are putting a great strain on Health Care in the UK. Hospitals are having to turn away Patients, appointments are delayed. Over 1 Million on a waiting lists for normal procedures due to staff shortages. latest covid Deaths are rising not dramatically but they are rising.  Just this Morning 200 Army personnel have been drafted into some London Hospitals to plug staff shortages.

No, not really. You have to make your own decisions. Not be influenced by others.

CCC destroying TT...?

That, Stonker dear man, is a load of bolleaux.

Sewing seeds of doubt to a member with heart problems and advising him to seek alternative Remedies id say is dangerous Faraday  unless Bluespynx is a Doctor. That Faraday is a load of Bolleaux.

Agreed - by spreading to infect the rest of the forum it's probably too late already.

PARACETAMOL or PANADOL... that'll fix it!

Hard to know quite how paracetamol or panadol could reduce the age of those aged over 60 or 70, or solve some of the medical conditions clearly evident, from asthma to cancer and missing limbs ... but we're all entitled to our own opinions.

But the chart @vlad linked to DOESN'T clearly show that "deaths are going down" as you claim.

That's completely untrue.

Look at the chart over the last three months and deaths have remained reasonably  steady over the period at around 7,500 with a few notable peaks and troughs.

That's confirmed by the UKHSA, whose figures "shows an increase of 393 or 56.1% compared to the previous 7 days" for Covid deaths in the UK.

https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/

I'd suggest that shows pretty clearly who's making a "foolish post" - or at least one which is completely untrue.

... data presented to you by politicians and spin doctors.... AKA Liars with their own agenda!

Y'know, the really sad part is that "you have all bought in it" and think it represents the truth!

... umm ... the stats were from worldometers (from @vlad) and the UKHSA (from me).

If you think that either worldometers or the UKHSA are "politicians and spin doctors.... AKA Liars with their own agenda" then that really is a bit sad!

Do you people have nothing else to do in your shallow, little retirement lives ...

I've been retired for nearly thirty years, BTW, and in a few more I'll even be retirement age ... that may make me lucky or lazy depending on your POV, but "shallow" 😂?
