"Bad" foreign tourists contribute to sharp rise in reported infections. Somehow true since all the tourists are tested so their Covid cases are reported while "good and clean" Thai people are not tested. They stay home with symptoms if lucky or most likely go around spreading Covid and nobody knows about it because only when someone gets severe symptoms and cannot do without a hospital aid they will be tested and reported. So, the number of cases is very likely to be at least 100 times more than what is being reported. This is even more true for the Omicron variant that doesn't cause severe illness requiring hospitalisation. Please stop all that inaccurate pandemic reporting that concentrate on foreign tourists and does not paint the full picture.

it was not that hard to understand......

But it is even easier, to write it.

Between house number 1 and house number 3 is just number 2.

Not number 1, 2 and 3!

Or is it?

The author wrote 'between' not 'in between', go back to school.

Pedantic, but actually it only means Sunday as that's all there is "between Saturday and Monday."

Not correct, the author was mentioning three days, he was not indicating which day was between Saturday and Monday, the grammar was correct in this context.

Example: "At least 500 lives a year would be saved in London if the mortality rates at the weekends matched those found between Monday and Friday, according to NHS London, the strategic health authority for the capital.

The Guardian Newspaper UK.

Sorry, but it's 100% correct. I'm sure he meant "three days", but what he wrote was "between Saturday and Monday" when he should have written 'from Saturday to Monday'.

The Guardian isn't exactly famed as a source of good grammar and syntax 😂

'from Saturday to Monday'.

That is two days and one millionth of a second as it could be all Saturday until a millionth of a second past midnight on Sunday which is then Monday.

So from Saturday to Monday inclusive would be three days.

"The Guardian" should be renamed, "The Left-wing And Politically Correct Daily".

But it was clear the author meant three days as if he just meant one day then he would have written "On Sunday....."

I can't believe we are nit picking over this, it's obviously meant to be a 3 day period and we are splitting hairs over how the author wrote this. If anyone is that concerned maybe just contact the author to take it up with them directly.

Lets move on to more important things maybe.

I know, I will take weeks to get over it not to mention the lack of sleep and trauma it has caused.
