News Forum - Thai man jailed for rape in London massage parlour
Okay, just in case I missed something I read the article twice over. There is nothing that answers my question. Where these woman raped ? How can they be raped twice ? Because that is what it says twice within seven months. So instead of making patronizing statements just fill in the bits I don't understand with your own words. -

News Forum - More than 100 foreigners in Phuket swindled by visa agency
I don't think the Crime Victim Club understands why the majority were using an agent in the first place, because they couldn't process the extensions by themselves. -

The deal is the agents obtain your extensions when you can't legitimately meet the financial requirements, for a fee, of course. A minority use an agent for convenience. -

News Forum - Thai health chief received special drug due to obesity, not privilege
So this guy is not only racist and incompetent but he is also fat - what a great example, an unhealthy 55 years old Health Minister. ... (+ 6 covid vaccine injections). And he is also a drug addict. -

International Driving Permit (to prevent constant fines)
You did get this sentence? "They also claimed it was legit." I was never in on that, just writing what was and may still be on the table. Alone the 5 or 10 (?)years validity option wasn't really legit, methinks. But: Since in some countries, you can get it in an post office, or from an motor organization, and since it is usually "just" a translation of your DL, which you need to have (usually) at hand, too, it might (seemed to have) worked in Thailand and also on Phuket. But so have the European card DL for years, which are kind of an IDL for Europe. Like the Thai DL is IDL for ASEAN countries. (Had one police encounter in Bali, who wanted to charge me. He wasn't happy about, but did not, in the end. In Malaysia that thing is "ok, go on", in Cambodia I couldn't check, they waved me through ;-)
