In Chiang Mai, Thailand’s highest mountain peak is riddled with tents as tourists flock to the mountains to celebrate the New Year’s holiday in nature. Camping is vacation for all people. Try it sometime. It can be great with friends.

They're a pretty active bunch, the Thais. I saw lots of fun runs in Phuket and other places....before Covid that is. I don't think they've discovered "glam-ping" yet though. Maybe post Covid.
