News Forum - BREAKING: Bars reopening in Thailand’s “Green” and “Blue” Zones, changes to Thailand Pass
My prediction is Thai pass will never go away for foreigners. The airlines aren’t going to collect the new tourist fee. But they don’t need the airlines! Just add a nice little credit card feature and voila. -

News Forum - Love drugs found in hotel of Aussie man who plunged to his death
Cropped photo of the top half of the hotel against the backdrop of the sky and clouds, even though this guy's room wasn't that high. Focusing on the utterly irrelevant point that Viagra was found in his room, as the hook headline for the article. Come on, Thaiger, these digital nomad clowns you rely on to fill the white space, make you look like a cheap tabloid rag. -

News Forum - Man in northeast Thailand stabs wife on train
Yes, there is something in the Thai psyche that causes all these problems, the one Thai girl I dated. One day her apparent ex (but I doubt the word apparent) turned up at my apartment and started throwing empty water gallon jugs and coconuts shells at my door (note he knew exactly where I lived as well). Then my landlord turned up. I didnt know who he was or what it was about, but as he was throwing water jugs, I initially though I hadnt been recycling properly (before i realised thais recylcle stuff from other peoples rubbish). Anyway after jabbering in Thai he then starts fighting with my landlord thats when I started to think this wasnt about recycling. After he'd gone, I contacted my gf who turned up with some amber h@ard style injuries, saying she'd been forced to jump out his car .. After that I expected to get shot walking home for a month. I guess I was lucky in the scheme of things compared to a lot of thai men. I guess killing a farang carries to much heat, -

Another Footie Game? Well, maybe . . . just a feeler.
Much appreciated comment, @DwizzleyMatthews, espec with me having asked myself, during the game's planning, the 'why penalise the 0's?' question. And there were 2 reasons for my opting to treat 0's as 'nothing'; (A) as mentioned in my intro notes, with 0-0 scores being such a bore, let's take the bolder (and maybe riskier) approach of predicting a goal or two instead of a zero, and (a little shamefacedly) (B) having 0's scored as zero on the Excel 'brain' is so much easier than having to work down each player's column of pred'ns one entry at a time (as opposed to using auto-calc) . . . yes, I know, just being a little lazy, there!! Let's see how this weekend's scores pan-out and, should it be seen that 0's deserve a point, we can incorporate that revision . . . and maybe others as well, with this being such a baby of a game project. Big thanks! KC- 1
