Hello?

Before people get excited about the possibility that Omicron is the final phase of covid-19 that even in that scenario the other 50% are suffering the nastiness of the Delta variant !

No problem  right?

"They tested positive at a later date and were admitted to a Khon Kaen private hospital on December 18. They’ve been in an isolated ward under strict observation since then."

why let them live? we can't take any chances.

Where's the evidence? Did I miss the actual evidence?

It's interesting that the discourse has changed from using the terminology of "cases" to "infections" and doctors "beliefs" rather than actual evidence of illness. The useful, often unanswered, question has always been what are the actual rates of "patients?" Meaning how many people are ACTUALLY symptomatic and how many ACTUAL deaths? "cases" and "infections" and "beliefs" and asymptomatic hospital admission rates do not REALLY provide an useful/utilitarian purpose. Just because this week's doctor says it is so is not good enough, where is the evidence backing up their claims/opinions so often required by users of these platforms? Are public health policies being implemented based upon whatever the doctor "believes?" It's a double standard on platforms such as this and ASEAN NOW that journalists write such rubbish, yet users are required to provide evidence for their discourse. What are the actual hospital admission rates of sick and dying people? Repeatedly reporting undefined and unsubstantiated "Cases" and "infections" and "beliefs" as actual sick people is not mere irresponsible, insignificant incompetence or immorality, it borderlines on malicious enabling of criminal intent.

All fear.  The omicron common cold is here.  And since it's already entered the country, what's the point of closing the airports to vaccinated tourists.  Oh wait, in the era of covid, cave-dwelling idiots (those afraid of covid) and morons rein supreme.

The headline is irresponsible, panic spreading and a lie.

19 cases have been detected, 45 are awaiting test results. As stated in the article.

Shame on you Thaiger. You have joined the ranks of the government control propaganda machine.

Reported yesterday evening:-

NNT- National News Bureau of Thailand

 ·

Kalasin health officials are rushing tests in high-risk locations since the number of Covid-19 cases skyrocketed in the area, with 66 individuals confirmed to be infected with the Omicron variant.

Chief of Kalasin Provincial Public Health Dr. Apichai Limanon, together with provincial health officials and medical team from hospitals are conducting screening tests on people in high-risk areas visited by the couple who flew in from Belgium and was later confirmed to have the Omicron variant. Two restaurants, a bank, a public office, and two music venues are among these locations.

According to Sirisak Boonchaisan of the Kalasin district public health office, the mass testing took place at Kalasinpittayasan School from 9 a.m. to 15 p.m., at the provincial Office of Education from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m., and at the strolling street market from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. Officials plan to conduct preventive testing until December 30, 2021, with a goal of testing 1,500 people per day in high-risk groups and 500 people from neighboring districts.

Dr. Apichai stated that a total of 173 cases have been linked to the pair with the Omicron illness. The Omicron variant has been confirmed in 66 cases, with the remaining cases waiting for confirmation. The medical team at Kalasin Hospital is now treating all of the patients, with 30% displaying no symptoms, 70% showing mild symptoms, and no cases of serious infections. He does, however, advise the people not to underestimate the virus and carefully follow prevention measures in order to stop the spread of the variant in the area.

looks like whatever SA doctors told is actually true, nobody believed them. well, getting natural immunity after recovery is even better than having shots, so let's hope that rapid spread is not a bad thing

That's false by numerous studies

Do you actually care that is false

Or you just want to put out tour talking point to suit your agenda?

I am guessing the latter

There was an inteteresting report from studies from virologists in the german news 2 days ago of the infected people (vaccinated) from Omicron  and the result was that their imunity was up against the delta ( higher than from the vaccine) and will bring an end of the delta variant because of that if Omicron take over now.

And proven by hundreds of millions already.

Something's working.

Though, never promoted as such.

Pay no attention to the entities behind the curtain.
