After neighbours complained of a Pathum Thani condo in a luxury building making excessive noise, police checked it out and uncovered a drug-dealing operation. The investigation led to several arrests. Gotta remember that - if we have a problem with noisy Thai people nearby, get the wife to make a anonymous complaint about parties and that it looks like they are dealing drugs. Then the BiB will come running hoping to get a bust and some coverage in the news media.

And don’t forget that the cops take all the accused’s possessions as well if stung selling drugs because they were “obviously” bought with the proceeds of crime. Expect to see a lot more of these marijuana busts. Minor possession is a fine but selling is 2 years in the slammer aka a lot of leverage.

Ive just been reading a story from a farang where his wife got 25 years to life for drugs, they came after the possessions, ie, property and cars

Any bust is good propaganda for the RTP, distraction from the fact a lot don't do their jobs and are too busy collecting tea money.

I'm not advocating for people to do illegal things. But if you do something illegal, do it quietly. Or else you might as well go to the police station and ask them to lock you up yourself.

yet another reason for farang not to put any high value items in thai names .

debt & criminal status of thais unknown to farang unless private detective hired ?
