There is a process of law to follow. The investigation should reveal what happened (at least I hope it does for the sake of his family, who will no doubt want answers). Then it will be the process of repatriating his body. This is so agonising for his family. Accidents like this are so terribly tragic for all concerned. I can only hope it results in drivers taking more care on the roads. I was twice involved as a motor scooter rider on the wrong end of first a motorist and second a truck driver.

How long will he get in prison and how much will it cost him?

Probably no prison time just has to pay, around here lately seems to be 1Mill baht the going rate if Insurance is paying.

Oh well. These things happen.

Well you got your 'head line' mate. Now go find a deep hole and bury yourself!

Not the most appreciative way to welcome incoming tourist's.

Well he's an employee of the 'family' so you would not expect him to see too much jail time? He will get a wrap on the knuckles, a meeting with the 'godfather' and fine befitting a gangster!
