Strap on your helmet. Motorbike drivers in Phuket are warned to wear helmets while driving. The Phuket Provincial Police have launched a new campaign called “100% helmet” with increasing fines for those who are repeatedly caught not wearing one. enforcement wont last past Sunday……usual PR smoke & mirrors…… like that truck violation points penalty scheme ( sunk without trace ?)…..some Police Major looking for his light colonel badge perhaps…..

But I thought Motor Cycle helmets 🪖 were optional in Thailand. Road rules same same but different.

Oh, I didn't know, that the old "100% helmet" campaign did run out!

so it is NOT in the law, that motorcyclists, include pillion, have to wear a helmet while riding?

Oh, wait, land traffic act,  section 122 is saying helmet for both. since the 80s. Why does the police have to make campaigns about it? Fine 'em every time and all works by law, in a couple of month

Spot on. There are laws and there are laws. And if a law isn’t enforced, it doesn’t exist.

They’ve obviously decided it’s time to make this one exist.

Shouldn't effect the kids ,they'll have immunity!

Multiple children riding on a motorbike with just the Adult , wearing a Helmet  . Excuse ,cause they can't afford the  helmets
