Baiya Phytopharm says that the plant-based Covid-19 vaccine they have been developing in Thailand can be adjusted to be effective against the Omicron variant. The vaccine is currently in the middle of the human trials phase of testing and the Chief Technology Officer says the vaccine can be modified to fight Omicron. We all know how Thailand’s own Astra-Zeneca production plant went. Let’s hope this one isn’t that much of a CF. At least somebody’s trying here.

At least there is a manufacturing capability in Thailand for vaccines. So many countries don't have the capability which puts them in a more precarious position.
