If there was ever a time for democracies to stand together, it's now. Sadly, due to the pandemic, I don't think I can ever remember a time when democracies have acted more like authoritarian regimes than now. Bans and restrictions on every facet of life, vaccination mandates and edicts; following the medical advice of course. While I think this summit will turn quickly into a talkfest, I hope at least it will be a sign of solidarity among democratic countries.
