Best Streaming Box for Disney+ with Samsung Flatscreen.

All my girlfriend does is stay in bed all day and watch Netflix. She has watched everything on Netflix and now she wants Disney+.

Samsung does not have the Disney+ app. I don't want to tie up a notebook computer so what is the tried and true solution in Thailand for a external streaming box?

Thanks.

I thought you would have the box locked on a porn channel for her?

Is your Samsung a Smart TV or do you stream Netflix through a separate connection?

my Smart TV had a Netflix app when new. but no Disney app in the Samsung store.

I keep finding links that mention compatibility is an issue for some Samsung Smart TVs as follows:

I have heard of people using an Amazon Firestick if the don't have a Samsung tablet or phone to link to.

In my case I have an android version Panasonic TV and watch it on there using app from Google Play. But initial setup had a few issues and have found it is not as friendly as Netflix. Disney + Hotstar is the app for Thailand. They key seems to be your mobile number and where that is issued.

Once set up though it has been good catching up on stuff not on Netflix but still find it a bit limited in selections. But you get all the big Marvel movies which is a bonus and have had a few of the family suddenly arrive to watch! They now know the rules and must bring snacks!

thank you for your response. unfortunately the information in this link does not work for Thailand's Disney+.

i guess I will have to emulate Android somehow and download the Disney+ Hotstar app.

The Amazon firestick I believe requires a VPN and i don't want to set that up for my TV.

Hear your frustration. Feel the same with mine sometimes. I don't know why the TV makers with these smart TVs are so behind with the times. The WiFi adaptor on mine is absolute garbage and the menu is so slow sometimes.

When I first tried to install it on mine it kept bringing up just the Disney+ app which just kept failing for Thailand. But for me, nothing to blame as I discovered I had the VPN going and it thought I wasn't in Thailand!

Hope you get a resolution.
