I would suspect that by the time any new variant has been isolated, analysed and thus identified it would have had time to spread worldwide.

For sure. At least a dozen have made their way into our lives - a couple much more publicized than others.

What we do know, all these mutated variants still hold the traits and properties of low percentage death rates.....after the original Covid and the handful of variants, the survival/recovery rate still holds at 98.6%.

Certainly doesn't mean that there might be a nasty mutation of vaccine resistance nature yet to come. Science understands this - indubitably, they're expecting such a strain to develop. That's where the mass paranoia comes from within these circles.

So far.....from quick studies of the last couple of weeks, appears the the dreaded Omicron isn't that nasty. Though, it's still early - don't know much yet.

Oh God No,

Omicron, the lord of darkness has claimed more victims. With it's ability to hit it's victims with a very, very, very, super, enormous mild flu, this will definitely be a reason to completely lock down the whole world again. 🤪
