Flight arrival after 1 am?

My flight arrives on December 12 at around 01:00.  I requested to book my hotel the day before my flight so I requested a hotel booking for December 11.  The international chain SHA Plus+ hotel booked me to check in on December 12.  When I questioned them they confirmed the proper booking date is the date my flight arrives, even if my flight is very early in the morning. 

They have said I will not be charged a second night and can stay at the hotel until I get my test results back.  They have already sent me the Letter of Confirmation and there is no refund on my deposit.

Should my hotel check in date be December 11, the day before my flight arrives, or December 12, the day my flight arrives?  For those of you on Test and Go who have had flights arrive after midnight, does your hotel Letter of Confirmation say check in at the hotel the day your flight arrives or the day before your flight arrives.

Does it matter to Thai Immigration which date is on my Letter of confirmation as long as someone from the hotel is there to pick me up at BKK?

Doesn't matter what it says. Check-in is the day you get to the hotel. That's when the clock starts. If your flight gets in early, and you get to the hotel before midnight, you'll get checked in on the 11th. This is actually not important at all under the Test&Go scheme as the trigger is not a specific time but getting the results of your test back. Once you're negative, you're free to travel.
