Yeay, TAT have found a vacant calculator to play with again 🤣

Well with the news today of Germany's sudden increase in infections I hope TAT is not encouraging to many of them to come here , allowing Thais to come back in unhindered.

Its bad enough them coming and taking all of the sun beds let alone having them now possibly taking all the hospital beds too 😂

I think it will be mainly domestic, but that's bad enough. They mention CM and some 60.000 visitors. And that while vaccination rate is still low, as they didn't ship the promised 700.000 doses and uptake is low too as people don't want what is offered. Besides, those that just received their first dose in the latest "drive" in the last two weeks aren't protected at all yet.

So it's the same thing all over again. Unnecessary travel that spreads more misery and undoubtedly for some a free present they take back home to spread there again as well.

But hey, whilst the people that fudge the figures are protected and a few businesses can make some money, who cares about a few more funerals?

Over 60,000 visitors will be headed to Chiang Mai, where the hotel occupancy rate is expected to be 34%.

Hospital occupancy will beat that percentage no problem.

The two designated hospitals are already full, as are the field hospitals. And they have now opened an emergency ICU ward in the convention center.

In addition, two large hotels along Huay Kaew road have already been contracted to accommodate ATK positives for whom there is no place in the field hospitals anymore.

Could well be they count those hotel rooms too...
