In the Phunphin district of Surat Thani, crystal methamphetamine was impounded from the home of a police officer and his wife could have now been arrested. The 52 year old police officer who worked at the Phunphin Police Station was arrested along with his 44 year old wife and charged with selling illicit drugs. Well for those of us who have lived here a few years it is hardly a secret that much of the police force in Thailand are suspected of being distributors is it  ?

Drugs,guns and cash. Always the same. Good to see a little less of the poison will be on the streets. Just hope it uncovers others in the supply chain.....

Or at the very least complaisant by way of turning a blind eye for the right incentives

Oh boy, look at us capturing bad guys. Bullsh*t. What is neccesary, is catching the big fish. The people really responsible for and controling the drugs trade in Thailand. And then make sure they get seriously punished for their crimes.

"News" like this about an insignificant lower police officer and his wife, is clearly "news" for a more ignorant category of readers.

It would seem that if you got rid of the Police here you would close down most crime.

After all everybody wants money post retirement, some competitor or an ex convict pointed finger at this poor chap !
