Mearsheimer is a modern version of Kissinger. A realist who isn’t very realistic. In Mearsheimer’s world the strong get to demand from the weak. A step back to the world pre 1945, with the same outcome. There are two main problems with is line of thinking. First that Russian interests are paramount and those countries near them have no interests. Second in making Russia feel secure. About a dozen countries with a total population twice that of Russia, must allow the Russians to write their security policy and in doing so give up their sovereignty. That was never going to happen.- 1

Thai Honorary Consulates
Not pandemic related at all. As the online e-visa is being rolled out by the MFA, the requirement for most Honorary Consulates became obsolete and were closed. The online e-visa system handles applications for all visa types through the respected Countries Thai Embassies - a streamlined system. All documents and payment are submitted online and once approved the visa is sent via email, known as 'stickerless Visa'. No requirement to submit your passport, everything is processed online. Royal Thai Consulates remain open in certain Countries. -

News Forum - What will be Thailand’s new tourism mix? – VIDEO
Today Tim it is now 12-30 pm I am 7 hours behind you. May I ask a question concerning how Thailand can convince Tourists to Return and what will be the incentives to want us to Return? Have they now realized that tourists should be treated better and looked after better? The Tourist industry now realizes what damage can incur on jobs if Tourists get ripped off and Scammed. The Thai tourism board now has a cleaner slate to restore their tarnished reputation. Or as I Think some will see a larger number of tourists as a good reason to fleece them to make up for losses incurred by the Covid Pandemic.
