Thailand Pass welcomes you all to the best holiday destination with the atmospheric night life never to be forgotten.

A night in the police cells and likely a 10,000 baht fine for daring to try to enjoy yourself...

I was considering December....possibly January now...I'll stay in Europe until they come to their senses - getting arrested for drinking = big disincentive to come.

Lisa on the Beach

Is that the Lisa TAT wanted to invite for New Year ?  Perhaps this was  just an audition then and the punters thought she was so bad it drove them to drink perhaps.

That is the kind of public relation to lure more tourist...

The way it's going, I'd guess the tourists will be booking a holiday in Afghanistan.

At least they'll be able to hang around in the centre of town.

Interersssante interpretation of the law:
Customers who are ignorant of the law and/or foreign customers are arrested because the seller who is knowledgeable of the law acts against the law.

Will the customers also be arrested in the future because the pub owner does not pay his taxes or lets stuff work without papers?

After cracking down on sharing and producing porn online, now they will catch someone named Lisa in the middle of doing it on the beach?

"Chon Buri Communicable Disease Committee is developing a plan to reopen bars and nightclubs."

No need a useless made up plan, just say you can open the bars and nightclubs it is that simple...

Its the corrupt RTP that should go to jail, along with the state leaders who support them in their criminal activity.

I also ask myself what happen because I am guessing they had an arrangement already, but this is maybe a negotation tactic for higher fees.

If that ever happened (within a million years) it would be a five-star prison with room service.
