US health officials have announced that children 5-11 years old can now receive the Pfizer BioNtech Covid-19 vaccine. This approval came yesterday after both the Food and Drug Administration and the Centre for Disease Control gave their authorisation. This approval qualifies around 28 million American children to now receive the Covid vaccine. President Joe Biden expressed his approval in a statement released from the White House. “Today, we have reached a turning point in our battle against Covid-19…(vaccinating children will) allow parents to end months of anxious worrying about their kids, and reduce the extent to which children spread the […]

Stabbing children with medicines they don't need...great idea!  The only children dying are those w/ leukemia (a major cancer) - perhaps the vaccine should be restricted to this grouping alone...

1) it's a free choice and although "children in general" are a low risk group, there are some within the age group that are at higher risk (certainly higher than the risk of taking the vaccine) and for those it makes sense.

2) don't do it for the wrong reason, as the article is misleading. Vaccination is for prevention of getting seriously sick or dying, but it isn't shown to significantly limit spreading of the virus as Biden appears to have said. Someone should have whispered in his ear a bit louder...

Until a viable alternative is invented (and there are alternatives being worked on, in my own country as an example), it appears to be the only way. Delta is not the strain that saw only the elderly and those with comorbidities dying. Delta is far more infectious and leads to serious illness and death across the age spectrum. I know there are those who will never be convinced of this. Thankfully, they are in the minority.

Free choice?

Maybe now, until proof of vaccination is needed to enter kindergarten, playgrounds, sports clubs, elementary schools ...

Free choice ? No, madness!

Ah, if it was only as simple than pro against anti vaccines. All rational people in between were (and still are) not allowed to even question things: You are ALL in without one single critical thought or you are ALL out! Looking for evidence, finding some? NOT possible...

For many months now, everyone slightly mentioning that something was not quite right, notably with Pfizer but I guess not only, you were IMMEDIATLY classified as "Con....y The...ist" (cannot even write it fully those words, they annoy me so much). Trying just to question Pfizer? No no!! Authorities like the FDA? Oh no no...

Now everyone would agree that the BMJ (British Medical Journal) is one of the most respected scientific source, one of the most read around the world. Even all of you here on this forum (or TheThaiger - please do not delete that comment and source).

And you want to give THAT to your kids?

So far not a peep from mainstream media. Probably waiting for Pfizer and the FDA to get another tissue of lies ready for the mass populations around the world that just want believe them cause the opposite is to scary to be believable... What a beautiful "new normal" world we live in!!!
