Bangkok governor Aswin Kwanmuang is refusing to budge on the law that bans restaurant alcohol sales after 9pm, at least for now. He was responding to a call from Thanakorn Kuptajit of the Thai Alcohol Beverage Business Association, who has called for sales to be extended to 11pm. Sounds very prudent.  I do drink and like to socialize! 

Going from no alcohol to 9pm last call seems like a dream to me.  Just start earlier ...

Other provinces don't even have this luxury yet.
