Guess as the numbers come down, the public in general lose interest, these daily reports will be stopped and no one will be any the wiser.

No change from the last months then 🤥

The daily figures are so highly manipulated by the use of non registered ATK they are already meaningless.

Sadly yes

Such a corrupt and deceitful regime with no compassion for the people of Thailand and now with reopening tourists as well...

I agree. No clear definition of what they actually publish as even if the numbers were correct we never know what part of the population they apply to.

But the last few weeks things have been more "visibly" manipulated, obviously to suit them working towards the opening of the country.

What they will not be able to hide is when not just cases go up (hidden with ATK"s) but when serious case numbers increase and ICU's are filling up everywhere.

Always amused me that, armed with that knowledge, people start ranting and raving about what they read. When the tourist stats were released in 2019 it was all 'pah 40 m, rubbish! They're counting wrong.' Yet now everything is held up against.....taraa....40m. Selective memory much?

And here I was thinking yesterday's reporting of vaccination percentages was ushering ina new era of full disclosure.....looks like it was a "one hit wonder" :(

Do we know if the various formats that these numbers are reported in, is because Thaiger is doing a "cut and paste", or are there editorial constraints such as shortage of time to re-format the figures they receive?
