Scheme number 3 has been optimistically named, “Happy Quarantine”.

I'm sure that slogan will sway a few low risk vaccinated tourists to choose scheme number 3😂

Happy Quarantine is for unvaccinated tourists.

Not happy ending quarantine 🤣, but perhaps ending happy quarantine, or happy quarantine ending...

All three schemes really sound like "schemes". Developed to "entice" tourists that will find most of the country closed, but can't leave until they've spent their money and then catch their scheduled return flight.

Quite possibly taking a minuscule souvenir home  🦠

Are you saying that vaccinated (and presumably insane) tourists can't choose Happy Quarantine 😂

No, the government surely would prefer they forget their vaccination passport and drop off their money at a quarantine hotel. Not Netflix and chill, but Netflix and Grab 😉

If the Happy Quarantine hotel offered a "indulge in Kratom" promotion, it might make sense to a few?

With the emphasis on 'grab'.

If you're in 'Happy Quarantine', surely a MacDonald's Happy Meal would be the perfect 'food' to order?

Wouldn't that be funny if after your Thai massage, they gave you a red box with a burger, fries and toy as a "Happy ending" 🤣

'gave you a red box'
I thought that would signify something to do with the time of the month?

Does anybody knows the price for the mandatory PCR test we have to take on arrival in Thailand ??! 😃

Not a set price. Ranges from 2500 to 4000 baht depending upon who the SHA hotel has arrangements with.
