PCR testing on arrival for fully vaccinated tourists a mere one to two days since the passenger was tested in their own country is just another form of arrival tax...

They should set them up outside bars and not serve you until after they swab you there 🤭 then stay until the result comes back.

Swab hubs with quarantine bars ☺️

They should have just put vaccine in the beer! More beers you drink the more vaccinated you become including boosters 🤣🤣

Wish they'd put a cap on using hub all the bleeding time .. they should try those anal swab things then they could call it stick it up your a*se hub ..

Then they'd just end up talking out of it.

The system is unlikely to be any different to all the previous ones, which have always been 14 days quarantine in a private hospital at your / your insurer's expense since hotels have never quarantined anyone testing positive on arrival.

Hi, thanks for the clarification and correction. I mentioned "hotel" because, due to lack of bed in hospitals in Bangkok, they used to send people in hotels requisitioned and under the supervision of private hospitals.

So, we come back to the definition of 'opening' and leaving with the virus .....who is going to risk 14 days in hospitals for end year celebrations ?

"swab hubs to be prepared to efficiently test mass numbers of international travellers coming back into Thailand"

could you be more disconnected with the real world?

Well to be fair, it’s only in keeping with how the majority of the population are also disconnected from the real world.

Only returning expats, long stayers and people who currently find Kabul and Pyongyang off limits.

I think they would find it less than a government  rip off scam if they stayed put in that case
