First sign that Covid news is slowing down is an article about a gas leak in Australia on a website about Thailand news. To be fair, any Thai walking behind Russell Crowe knows what an Australian gas leak smells like.

Huh? You'll have to explain:

Falaḥ is the Arabic word for success, happiness and well-being.
source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falah

Falah is the type of cooking from Issan. Didn't smell it personally but the smelly fish they were throwing at the PM, possibly Falah. It stinks big time, god knows how they eat it. They have a whole range of dishes that are offensive to the nose. Ask a Thai about it, they'll just smile and say 'you want try'.

If anybody could think that a Durian smelt like natural gas than then clearly they are a danger to society.

Yes, natural gas is odorless and therefore doesn't smell like anything .

But the additives they use to make gas smell, smells rather similar to durian .

Total and utter twaddle. The additive for natural gas is mercaptan and seriously, if you think that smells like Durian then on your return to the UK you should have a check-up as sense of smell, or lack of it, can be attributed to various related health issues- seriously

They are quite similar .

Smell for yourself .

First smell the gas from the cannister , wait a few minutes, then smell the durian and you will notice the similarities

Well , I think that they are similar .

Its not the same as a strong smelling gas , like if you sniff it straight from the cannister .

Its like  a faint smell of gas .

Happened to me before , I smelt a faint smell of gas in my condo, reported that there may be a gas leak coming from somewhere and the owner found  someone eating a durian in their room
