Lucky it is wet, you can come have a chat with us.

Rain is good though compresses the soil giving more solid foundations- reduces the settling cracks later.

Go Sox! The Red ones!

It will be a great series, lots of story lines and drama, huge talent on both sides, and I have always liked watching games in Fenway.

So true! Did you have foundation issues?

Yes, during the dry spell a few years ago I levelled the land with fill, no rain , no compression.  Eventually had to build or wait a year, I built. Next year there were floods, a bit of luck, nothing major. I did put the piers down 3 metres, everyone thought crazy farlung but it helped. Putting in the fill has also shown that It was the only house not to get flooded in the area. Close, 3mm from coming in the door but not a metre like all the others.

We filled ours 3 times over 5 years- hopeful that will do it!

Set the land and house drainage to run to the perimeters of the land, where possible, helps also.
