News Forum - Baltimore bridge collapse prompts urgent search (video)
It will in no way cripple the economy but people were questioning why it would take months to re-open the port It seems it is really shallow there so now with so much debris underwater they will need to go in and dredge it all It's going to a long time to even move the ship It is all quite involved https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2024/03/27/baltimore-bridge-collapse-removing-ship-wreckage/73117696007/ -

When I saw the village idiot post the conspiracy theories from his favourite far-right rags, I had a quick look on Google Maps. Disruptive? Yes, but there are plenty of alternate road and rail links that skirt round Baltimore, and it won't take long to clear the water way into the port. A terrorist attack on a strategic link that will cripple the US economy? That is deep into tin foil hat territory.- 3
