Interesting.  Just fyi.  If you’re a farang involved in the death of another party who is Thai (regardless of fault), lawyers here will expect you to pay 300k THB to that person’s family for the issue.  That’s just for starters before any court case to determine fault.  The 300k THB number being thrown around seems like quite a coincidence.

Based on what?

Anything a lawyer has said? If so, who and where?

Or just a figure that came to you talking with your mates over a beer behind the supermarket?

imo, the Swiss guy will walk as dead men tell no tales

My guess it will all depend on if the wife's shown to have "known" the Thai guy or not.

If she is, then nothing she or her Swiss husband says has much credibility.

If there's no evidence of it, then he's much more likely to be off the hook.

I don't believe this Swiss bloke. Why would you tie up somebody you just shot to death. Who just happened to be giving your wife a seeing to and had gun at your house.

And where has the money gone?

More to this story than he is telling.

Here is a video of his reenactment and his promiscuous wife.

It was less than 300,000.

Well, you're obviously confused ... and equally obviously misinformed.

And you obviously need things explained …and obviously frequently.

If a person is NOT in the country, how can the person be involved in an accident IN the country?

There's no such legality that requires this.

Aside from all the nonsense that many make up, every situation of this caliber will differ from the next.

JHC.

Maybe English is your second language, but I'm not a TEFL teacher.

It's a direct parallel with your own point:

If the Thai guy has just stayed at his home none of this would have happened.

... and if farangs didn't come here they'd never be involved in car accidents, so the accidents must be their fault????? 😂 😂 😂

Exactly. Amongst a plethora of uninformed absurdity, this has to be the winner.
