Krabi has received 500,000 vaccines from the Ministry of Public Health as the province begins its reopening plan and pushes towards vaccination goals. Krabi, along with Phang Nga, joined Phuket and the Koh Samui islands as Sandbox destinations that international travellers could arrive into for a 7-day soft quarantine before being allowed to travel freely throughout Thailand. Inexcusable that healthcare workers are still unvaccinated here, despite all the hype and third booster doses, seven months after the vaccine roll out started.

Eastern Province health workers, school teachers , police etc were vaxed months ago.

Who dropped the ball with Krabi?  Krabi is one of Prayuts' "Save Thailand with Tourism" places to boot.

As they were here, in Loei.

It's as inexcusable as it is unforgivable that healthcare workers were not vaccinated at the first opportunity, across Thailand, instead of priority being given to wherever it was politically most expedient.

I am glad to see ANY supply of vaccine being directed to these places. It's the only way international tourists who have to be fully vaccinated themselves will return.
