Money makes the world go around

Luckily nobody depends on Windows as an Operating System these days, there are plenty of open and free alternatives which not all take a steep learning curve and even work on like 22+ year old computers.

It's a better alternative then what happens in Thailand, running Windows XP... in so many government buildings. That is the definition of insecure by design.

Isn't win XP still in the ATM's?

I've got it lurking too, ready to be installed but I think it can wait.

Get it installed. You can always go back if you want.

I'm a little unsure what will happen as regards passwords, favourites etc. Thats what puts me off. Plus the VPN I use. Will it still work?

They all stay exactly the same. Installed on two PCs, each without the necessary CPU etc, using the registry crack from Miscrosoft. No problems at all, and after a couple of days learning I like it much more than W10.

Really. Show me the data

Your phone runs linux (unless its a apple), so does 90% of the servers on the internet including this one. Just sheeple consumers use windows. Also PC gamers use windows mostly as well.

"By W3Cook’s analysis of Alexa’s data, 96.3 percent of the top 1 million web servers are running Linux."
