the CCSA gave initial approval to an order to allow selling and consuming alcohol in restaurants starting October 1.

Now let’s wait for all other governors from 76 provinces to jump up and down and request same rights for their districts ….. looks like they have stirred up a sandbox here.

come on Governor’s, get up on your sandboxes, elections near!

Only in Phuket

Once again a province that should be upgraded to a red zone at least gets special treatment.

As they say money talks and the big hoteliers of Phuket have the ear of government.

Especially the highest one at Cape Panwa.

It was a simple question - sorry if it was an awkward one.

As for yours, I'm sure some are but just because some break the law doesn't mean this law or any other should be revoked.

What's next?

Because some people sell drugs, or drive on the wrong side of the road,  so it shouldn't be an offence?

So you think every restaurant is going to turn into a party zone?

What exactly are you worried about?

Who said they were?

Who said I was?

Do you ever answer a simple question with anything other than an unconnected, irrelevant question?

The people at the top simply cannot give up control can they?

Pathetic. Glad I am not a business owner.

It is ALL about control. Nothing more, nothing less. Not about health

Again, it is clear that the Covid situation has been and is used as an alibi to enforce regulations that have absolutely nothing to do with a health emergency, but more a sharia inspired and endorsed societal change.

Well, all I can say is, it must have been one very passionate letter that the Governor wrote two days ago, asking to government in Bangkok to allow  him to lift the alcohol ban.

A ban he imposed.

Funny how fast things can move. 555555

Do you really think it's fair that only restaurants in Phuket can start serving alcohol on Oct 1st,what about the rest of the country. If the Thai government was serious about stopping alcohol consumption they could have closed the breweries and distilleries, but as we all know they are owned by the upper 1% of the country.
