Following a surge in infections, Singapore has been forced to tighten restrictions once more in a bid to curtail the spread of Covid-19. Nation Thailand reports that the city state has now reduced gatherings from 5 to 2 people, with the exception of members of the same family. All these idiotic plans for early reopening will backfire, because we are simply not ready and prepared. The lack of a little patience now until people are vaccinated to a high degree, will result in a big backlash which will be far more damaging with deaths and more restrictions again.

Over 80 percent of total populace in Singapore has been vaccinated already. You are making stuff up out of your behind as usual.

That would seem to indicate that whatever "herd immunity" we are looking at, the threshold is above 79.2% fully vaccinated, as that is where Singapore stands today.
