Scientists are collecting samples from bats in Cambodia to better understand the Covid pandemic. The researchers chose the region as a similar virus was found there in bats years ago. 2 samples were taken from horseshoe bats back in 2010 in the Stung Treng province, which is close to Laos. The samples were placed in freezers at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge in Phnom Penh. Then, last year, tests were conducted on the samples that determined a near relative to the coronavirus previously killed 4.6 million people across the globe. Reuters says similar research is being done in the Philippines. […]

WHO concluded a year or so ago  I think on page 13 of the report, that the most likely source of the contagion was ill equipped or badly trained/ lazy Wuhan Lab workers in the caves collecting bat dung who brought the contagion back to Wuhan city with them, into their homes exposing  others  and it was from  there  the human to human transmission evolved.

Scientist are still not sure if it is a direct transmission via the horse shoe bat to human or through an "intermediary host". In the case of SARS, the "host" is the civet cat. With Covid, they have yet to find the "intermediary host". I hope Scientist have a break through find a cure soonest.

Thai researchers previously denied the suggestion that horseshoe bats could be responsible for the coronavirus.

No, that is absolutely NOT what the "Thai researchers" said, which was that a particular strain of horseshoe bats in Thailand, in Chachoengsao, could not have been responsible for the Coronavirus.

Totally different.

Jack Arthur strikes again 😠.

Let me guess, by more CCP scientists trying to deflect the Wuhan biological lab terror since they have almost taken over Cambodia.

should research penguins in Antarctica, easier to get funding

Don't give the Chinese any ideas. There'll be a snowy Chinatown and Antarctic Institute for Virology in no time! And a penguin wetmarket...

So that’s where the wet markets in Wuhan got the supply of bats from. Instead of following the money, it’s following the bats.
