With Covid-19 still infecting over 200 people per day in Phuket, organisers of the yearly Phuket Vegetarian Festival are fishing for an answer to how big the event planned for October 6 to 14 can be. The writer clearly has no idea that this festival is more of a religious ceremony rather than about vegetarian food. If he does have an idea, all the meat puns are unnecessary and rude.

All the meat puns in the article are written "in bad taste" I would say. Being vegetarian isn't even the focus of the festival. Pretty disappointing to read something like this from the Thaiger.

Well it is, as the Mahsong, being vegetarian, are able to receive the Deities, because they are considered 'clean'.

Have you ever been to the Festival, in particular Saphan Hin?
