On today’s show Jay and Mike talk about the booming and bust of businesses in Thailand during covid and post covid. Tropical storm conson approaches Thailand. Police in Bangkok arrested 18 people last night at the Din Daeng intersection, which has been a major protest site in recent weeks. Koh Samui will switch from their “Samui Plus” reopening model to a more relaxed “sandbox” programme, like Phuket. A new programme, the “Sandbox Safety Zone in School” is being launched to reopen 68 schools in Thailand.

I guess the reason behind keeping all the asymptomatic patients in field hospitals is to prevent them from spreading the disease to the vulnerable people in the community and to keep the R(reproductive rate) down.

 

Thais are not the easiest for the regime to manage (they copulate even whilst in field hospitals).
