I am so glad to hear of these initiatives to help the people. I also think that an even greater help would be an influx of international tourists. They would be fully vaccinated and PCR tested to be Covid free. What international tourists need to be assured of, is that Phuket (and any other tourist destination in Thailand), have restrictions to entry from Thais from other parts of the country, so that Phuket truly is a quarantined area. If this can't be achieved, why would people come?

What would also help is if tourists could arrive via Bangkok.

There are a limited number of airlines flying directly into Phuket and transit through Suvarnabhumi would vastly increase potential numbers.

15 days quarantine in Bangkok will be a complete barrier for anyone wishing to go the Phuket.

Surely it is possible to create a transit 'bubble'?

“The fundraising efforts came just in time as we received a call on Monday morning for emergency food relief support for over 750 families that are in immediate need of assistance. I feel so thankful to the people who attended on the tour on Sunday – allowing us now to feed these 750 families on Tuesday,” Shaun said.

What kind of joke is this ?

65000 baht for 48000 people ?

How much can you buy for 1,5 baht ?

Or 87 baht per family ?

And it would help the people to get rid of the incompetent clowns in charge who are responsible for all the misery because of their greed and mismanagement in all fields than 1 baht they get.
