The deputy head of the national police, Suchart Teerasawat, has briefed a House Committee on the legal case against Thitisan Utthanaphon. The former Nakhon Sawan police chief is the main suspect in an investigation into the alleged murder of a man while in custody. Thitisan and 6 of his colleagues have been detained after video footage of drugs suspect Chiraphong Thanapat being tortured while under police interrogation went viral. Nothing except the testimony of the people that decided to report him.  I guess eyewitness accounts don't count for much in Thailand.

Naah is just they looking for a way to not punish him to much, so depends on how people react on it, nice trick but either way, place this guy in front of a fire squad and sell all his assets and the money from that hand it out to the thai people that have financial trouble

He has briefed the committee on how best to get the accused off the charges, probably claim it was just a misunderstanding.

Of course it wasn't a misunderstanding - the poor guy had hiccups, so he was helping him.
