The amount of times I've heard, "it's not soccer it's football" "we use our feet" "how can you call yours football when you throw it most of the time" etc etc. Zzzz
Almost as often as the Marmite Vs Vegemite debate with Australians
Talk about learning by experience; there was me assuming that West Ham's Antonio's red card (2-weeks ago) would get him at least a 2-game ban and making a totally compromised transfer, only to discover, yesterday, that he was on The Hammers' team sheet and then transferring him in and transferring-out that poor Brighton dude that never even saw the green of my carefully mowed pitch.
'Bollocks' was the word that first came to mind for this valuable learning experience, but I DO hope that all you other Fantasists will award me an extra 4 notional points, come Monday's final scores, being as they are truly educational . . . no? Okay . . . just that rude B-word again!
The announced minimum daily 1m vaccinations as from yesterday, are today being described as up to 1m vaccinations per day (BP today). So not necessarily any change.
But even at that level it will take months to double vaccinate the country (and boost the ones that were jabbed early) until it's reasonably safe to ditch the restrictive/preventative measures and open-up the country.
Time for the government to be clear about this and to assist the ones most in need. Having the same discussion every two weeks is useless if you know it's going to take time.
