The Thai government is considering issuing cards that show who’s been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or who has recovered from the virus. Kiattiphum Wongrajit from the Public Health Ministry says the cards could be useful as various businesses prepare for re-opening in a Covid-19 world. The Bangkok Post reports Kiattiphum as saying fully vaccinated people could be issued with green-coloured cards, while those who’ve recovered from Covid-19 within the last 1 – 3 months would get yellow cards. From today, Covid-19 restrictions are being eased in the 29 dark red provinces with the highest rates of infection. Restaurants can once […]

Trekkie has his finger on it.  Thailand shouldn't develop it's own system (when have they ever designed one the works well?) but use the specs put out by the WHO so that those with vaccinations are able to prove that, in Thailand and out.

..."the Bangkok Post reports that the Mor Prom database would be used to determine who is entitled to green cards, based on them having received 2 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine."

Isn't that the same Big Brother app that tracks where you go?  That's BS, right there.

With an IFR of 0.15%, why do we need any of this big brother BS at all?  Talk about dystopia and all the countries just falling in line with the narrative.

So 15 people out of 10000 people catching this disease and dying is worth tracking you from cradle to grave?

"the available evidence suggests average global IFR of ~0.15% and ~1.5-2.0 billion infections by February 2021"

A vaccine passport is a temporary measure.

1) they're already falsified big time (printed and digital versions)

2) vaccination is only proof that the vaccinated person is protected, not proof that they don't still carry the virus

Once 75% is protected by double vaccination, and possibly by boosters afterwards, a registration within the border is not useful anymore as numbers of casualties will become very low and manageable.

Then it's only useful if you travel abroad to a country with different stats. And also over there a passport is of limited use because it says nothing about you carrying the virus.

I think the machines that are being developed will be released for use for international travel to do a quick breath or saliva test to detect the virus and will allow/disallow travel.

The vaccine will stay important to stay safe against Covid yourself. But for others it's important that you're not still a carrier or the virus and a passport doesn't show that.

No doubt that many countries are considering  ways to stop the spread and make everybody safe from the virus .
I have no problems with getting vaccinations !  But now it’s getting out of hand. That consideration is going to be a reality  imop

The cure is going to be worse then the virus in the form of regulations, restrictions on activities ,privacy.

The vaccines shouldn’t be the determining factor for socializing , simply because ,they don’t stop the spread!
